The Legacy Continues
US-Africa Chamber of Commerce Network Expanding Trade & Investment between the Pan African Diaspora

As a result of the outcomes and recommendations of the 9th Annual Pan African Trade and Investment Conference the Africa-USA International Chamber of Commerce and Industry is establishing associate chapters that bring together public and private sector government and business organizations to promote and facilitate mutually beneficial trade relationships with Africa and the Caribbean. Cross-cultural bilateral business promotion, training and investment will be the association’s central theme and purpose.
The associate chapters are being organized and incorporated as the US-Africa Chamber of Commerce Network (USACCN).
Each chapter will provide viable local, national and international programs and venues for African and U.S. business travelers and tourist to meet to explore and pursue bilateral business and investment opportunities. Its membership will include national and international associations that encompass local small businesses in individual states, counties, cities or neighborhoods.
The ultimate goal of the USACCN will be to overcome the stereotypes and misconceptions that prohibit viable and sustainable bilateral trade and investment between the emerging economies of Africa, the Caribbean and the State of California by providing ongoing education and public relations programs that promote and facilitate mutually beneficial international trade, commerce and tourism.
The focus of the Sacramento conference USACCN presentations and workshops will be the expansion of multilateral trade programs between Africa and the Pan African Diaspora that provide the following benefits:
-
Generate increased bilateral investment in economic development in Africa and the Pan African Diaspora where infrastructure and business development would provide needed improvements.
-
Create opportunities for marketing corporate and small businesses products and services in developing African Nations and the Pan African Diaspora
-
Create businesses and jobs in Africa and the Pan African Diaspora in the leisure and business travel market
-
Create educational and cultural exchanges between public and private educational institutions in African and the Pan African Diaspora.
-
Establish trade and commerce between businesses in the Pan African Diaspora and their counterparts in Africa.
-
Promote and support existing programs and institutions that promote and provide effective and fair business, educational and cultural relations between Africa & the Pan African Diaspora.
