My Story
Dr. Norris-Brown holds credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. Delaware and Virginia, Approved Clinical Supervisor, National Certified Counselor and Certified Life Coach. She uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused-Brief Therapy methods to help clients lead a more fulfilling life. She also serves as a gatekeeper to the counseling profession by providing clinical supervision to individuals interested in becoming licensed. Dr. Norris-Brown's current interests include advocating for students with disabilities and marginalized groups that experience systemic barriers, group work, professional identity development of professional school counselors and issues related to diversity and social justice in education and the counseling setting She is the Chief Operating Officer for TeleHelp 24/7, an Associate Professor with an online school graduate counseling program and maintains a private practice. She is an anti-bias facilitator with the Anti-Defamation League and provides diversity training throughout the Atlanta area.
