By recommendation of Dr. Alice Bussey he traveled to South Africa with Mayor Bill Campbell to represent small business where he met an African male, Abram McCau. Abram’s dream was to come to America, go to Morris Brown College (MBC) & Georgia Tech (GT), get degrees and business experience, go back to Africa, start a business to create jobs for his people. With the coaching, mentoring and support from Chuck Barlow and other strategic partners, Abram’s dream was realized… We raised investment funds in Atlanta for Abram and former UN Ambassador Andy Young helped him to get funding in South Africa for his business. He started a business in South Africa, in two years he had 42 employees, built a power plant, a school and generated $2M in revenue.

    • “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” These words of former South Africa former President Nelson Mandela.  Historical Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) in partnership with Africa can change the world.
