Elenwor is a Chartered Accountant and brings onboard over 22 years of experience in areas of Commodity Exchange Management, Development Financing, Agriculture Financing, Risk Management, Audit and Bank Examination, and Institutional Transformation.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and The Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), graduated with honors from Yaba College of Technology in 2000 and an Alumni of Lagos Business school (LBS), where he concluded his Advanced Management Program. He also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in organisational leadership from Said Business School, University of Oxford, London.
Elenwor has attended various leadership and corporate training within and outside Nigeria. He started his career in the audit practice, a brief stint in Commercial Banking in 2002, before joining the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 2003.
Following his sterling performance and leadership quality at the CBN, he was appointed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2013 as Executive Director of Operations at the National Economic Reconstruction Fund at the age of 36.
As part of his assignment, he was tasked with restructuring the organization and positioning it to provide loans to Micro, Small and Medium businesses in Nigeria. On his return to the CBN in September 2016, he was posted to the Development Finance Department, played a key role in restructuring the department.
As the interim coordinator, he leads the effort in repositioning of the NCX as a world class Exchange and facilitate private sector capital in critical areas in the Commodity Exchange Value Chain.
Ihua is an astute Public servant, Development Finance and SME Expert, Youth Mobilizer (Assistant National Co-ordinator, National Youth Summit), Marriage Counsellor and Minister of the Gospel.
He is blissfully married with children and they are based in Abuja.
