Unit Head, Market Risk Enterprise Risk Management BANK OF AFRICA GHANA LTD

• Research current and emerging risks impacting the global and local economy and financial markets and inform the Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) accordingly with any recommendations for remedial actions.

• Create, direct, and maintain a risk appetite framework of limits and controls, policies, and governance that will operate across all ALM risks. This includes setting counterparty limits for all transactions with both local and international counterparties.

• Play a key role in ensuring compliance with bank risk standards and where appropriate, implement actions to protect the bank's business at all times. This also includes reporting to the Central bank and IFC on regulatory issues.

• Create market risk measurement systems including valuation models, VaR, sensitivities and stress testing.

• Prepare Asset and Liability Management (ALM) Risk material for ALCO and the Board Risk and Compliance Committee

• Manage the risk in the Net Open Position of the Bank

• Manage and monitor all Treasury Risks and Limits and report to ALCO and Board Risk and Compliance Committee
