Dr. Mark Darko

Mark is currently the President of Asian-African Chamber of Commerce &

Industry - AACCI, a transnational chamber of commerce (Ghana chapter).

He is a Senator at the World Business Angels Investment Forum, (WBAF)

honorably representing his country, Ghana at the Grand Assembly.

Mark is also a Governing Council Member and Vice Chairman of the board of The Private Office of H.E Edward Agyekum Kufuor. (Family office of the son of H.E President John Agyekum Kufuor of Ghana, also former Chairman of the African Union).

He is also an Executive Director of African Rating Agency, a CRA and an

Executive Director of Heritage Capital Management Ltd, a Ghana based

investment facilitation company.

Mark is an Investment banker and an SME Finance expert with eighteen

(18) years extensive experience in Investment Management, International

Trade, Credit Management, Financial Risk Management and Corporate

Finance.

Mark is an expert in financial intermediation with special focus on

structured finance, financial analysis, asset management, and private

placement programs.

As an investment banker, he worked as the Managing Director-Africa of

Evrensel Capital Partners, a global merchant banking and fund

management company.

At ECP, he was responsible for the overall direction and administration of

programs, products and services of ECP in Africa , including the firm’s

financial performance, portfolio quality, business development, HR

development, operations and risk management.

Mark was the key advisor in matters regarding changes in investment

strategy, asset classes, asset allocation, investment risk, liquidity,

benchmark indices, investment limits and other operating parameters in

ECP.

Mark is an avid writer and a columnist in Newspot Media House, Nigeria

where he has written and published more than 100 different articles

covering extensive subject matters in the areas of business,

entrepreneurship, finance and economics, international trade and

diplomacy etc. Mark's articles are published every week in Newspot.

Mark was recently honored to feature in Passion Vista Magazine-A global

lifestyle and luxury magazine based in India. Other magazines that have

featured him include; Hoinser Magazine, 28COE magazine Malaysia, and

Fashion Luxury Magazine, Dubai and has received several prestigious

global awards in international trade, entrepreneurship, governance and

leadership, including;

Mark holds a PhD in Finance and Management from Myles Leadership

Association-India, ambassador of The Commonwealth Entrepreneurs

Club, Gold member of The World and European Golden Assets Club and a prestigious Member of Szidonia Business Club in Szidonia Castle, Vienna.
